Orientation & Mobility for Children

Early Orientation and Mobility training helps children who are blind or have low vision develop the skills they need to explore their environment, build confidence, and become more independent.

Our child-focused programs support the development of:

  • body and spatial awareness
  • sensory exploration
  • environmental concepts
  • safe movement through home and school environments
  • early route learning
  • readiness for independent travel skills later in life

Sessions are engaging, practical, and designed around the child’s age, development, interests, and functional vision needs.

We work with families and schools to support children in building strong foundations for future independence, community access, and safe travel.
